RIYADH, 30 January 2003 — Jordan’s King Abdallah II will pay a one-day visit to Saudi Arabia next Tuesday for talks with top officials on the looming war on Iraq, an Arab diplomatic source said. The visit comes as Arab states have gone into diplomatic overdrive in the hope of averting a US-led assault on Iraq for failing to disarm. (AFP)
