DAMMAM, 6 February 2003 — Eastern Province Governor Prince Mohammed ibn Fahd commissioned the first Saudi-built ship at King Abdul Aziz Port here yesterday. Named Zamil-25, it was built by Al-Zamil Maintenance and Operation Company. The governor commended Al-Zamil company for its efforts in building a hundred percent Saudi-made ship, and urged them to build more. Zamil-25 was built under the supervision of a US company. (SPA)
