JEDDAH, 27 February 2003 — Saudia has increased its international flights by 26 percent to transport the large number of pilgrims leaving Jeddah’s King Abdul Aziz International Airport at the end of Haj, Al-Watan daily reported. Abdulhameed Al-Jahdali, assistant to Saudia’s general manager of passenger services and sales, said that Saudia has flown since Haj more than 152,000 pilgrims aboard 566 flights. It is expected that more pilgrims will fly home next month on Saudia.
