JEDDAH, 6 March 2003 — Al-Hilal of Riyadh failed to gain full points in their match against Al-Ittifaq as the two teams played out a goalless draw in the King Fahd Cup Soccer Tournament at the Prince Muhammad ibn Fahd Stadium in Dammam.
Ittifaq gained a valuable point to move up to tenth place with 13 points. Hilal, with 35 points, stay second but have racked up four more games than leaders Al-Ittihad and third-placed Al-Qadisiya. In the other game of the tournament, Al-Shola defeated Al-Najma 2-1 to climb to the seventh rung with 22 points, while Najma prop the league with three points.
