RIYADH, 15 April 2003 — Saudi companies have won contracts worth 108 million euros in Iraq within the framework of the UN oil for food and medicine program, according to Ibrahim Al-Fouda, executive director of Saudi Exports Development Center. Speaking to Asharq Al-Awsat, he said Riyadh will start exporting more products to Iraq, adding that Saudi firms have established their dominance in the areas of contracting, road construction, cable production, electricity projects, irrigation and agriculture.
