ASIR, 4 May 2003 — The Interior Ministry is studying the idea of transporting traffic accident victims by helicopter to hospitals. Al-Madinah newspaper quoted Brig. Fahd Al-Bishr, director general of the traffic department, as saying that the idea has been presented to the ministry for study. A private hospital is prepared to buy a fleet of helicopters for transporting, those injured in remote areas.
