JEDDAH, 19 December 2003 — The Jeddah based Council of Filipino Shotokan Karate Instructors will conduct Free Fundamental Karate Training and Instructorship Seminar entitled “Karate Ni Sente Nashi” (There is no first attack in karate) the core essence of Karate concept.

The seminar’s will start on Jan. 16 and will last until March 16 and is open to all. The event will be held every Friday starting at 8:30 a.m. at the CFSKI Headquarters along Al-Salamah District here.

Sensei Gerry de Jesus Renta Jr. a member of Shihan Kenneth Funakoshi’s Shotokan Karate Association (FSKA) based in Milpitas, California, USA, and the founder & chief instructor of ISMART Karate Club, 19 December 2003 — said that this seminar could prove beneficial to many. At the conclusion of the event all the participating Club founder’s, instructor’s and individual participants will receive certificates.

Our theme this year is from O’ Sensei Funakoshi’s Niju Kun No. 10: “Ara yuru mono o karateka seyo, soko ni myomi ari” this means “put karate into your every day living, that is how we will see its true meaning”.

The seminar likewise is open for all who want to learn karate or martial arts. Training for beginners, instructorship, refereeing and judging for black belts and lots of other aspects of karate can be learned.
