DUBAI, 19 December 2003 — The Saudi Rally Dream Team was able to emerge 2nd in Group N and the 6th in the overall Middle East Championship 2003 as the final round concluded recently here.

Saudi rally driver Ahmed Al Sabban took his Group N Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution 7 to a fine second place in the first day of the Dubai rally but pulled back in the final day when mechanical problem occurred in his car. On the last day, Al Sabban showed no signs of trauma from the mechanical problems and continued to reach the top six in 2:34:32 minutes. “ We were hoping for a better position but we took things steady over to begin with, worked very hard toward the end rounds and feel great of what we made this year as a new Saudi team and look forward for a better results next year,” he added.
