JEDDAH, 12 February 2005 — An Indonesian maid was injured while trying to escape through the bathroom window of her new employer’s third-floor apartment, Okaz reported. The maid, who had arrived from Indonesia only a few days ago, had been advised by other maids to escape once she arrived in the Kingdom and work on her own because it was more profitable. But the maid, who tried to escape through the bathroom window at night, lost her balance and fell to the ground. She was taken to hospital with broken limbs in a Red Crescent ambulance.
