RIYADH, 28 February 2005 — Prince Andrew, the Duke of York, recently visited the Saudi British Bank (SABB), Riyadh superbranch. The royal visitor was received by Abdullah Mohamed Al-Hugail, SABB chairman and Sulaiman Al-Hamdan, SABB deputy managing director and was accompanied to the Board Room where presentations were made on the local banking market, SABB’s new investment and Islamic banking strategy by the bank’s senior executives. The Duke later visited the Private Banking and Investment Center to meet the SABB Customer Relations team, followed by a tour of the branch. Al-Hugail said: “The visit of the Duke of York’s to SABB emphasizes the economic relations and encourages promoting cooperation between the two countries in all fields. This visit also reflects the financiers’ and economists’ concern and appreciation of SABB worldwide,” Al-Hugail added.
