BEIRUT, 1 March 2005 — Under Sherif Sabry’s direction, Ruby has shot a huge video clip produced by Melody Entertainment and it is expected to be another hit when it is released next month. Ruby struck the entertainment world with her first hit “Enta Aref Leeh” (You Know Why) that was released in the summer of 2003. It was followed by another two hit video clips, in which Ruby continued her so-called “seductive” style of singing and dancing.
Ruby has also starred in the movie “Three Playing Cards” but the film did not find much success at the box office. She made her movie debut in the film “Silence, We Are Shooting,” directed by Yousif Shahin.
Meanwhile, Saoud Abu Sultan will be starring in a movie produced by the UAE’s Media Group. A social comedy, the movie will be shot in the UAE and Kuwait. Shooting is expected to start early next month.
Saud is also now working on his second album to be released in early Spring. Saud, who comes from the UAE, broke into the entertainment business when he participated in the first “Superstar” program on the Future TV and ranked fourth in the finals.
