JEDDAH, 4 March 2005 — Indian Cultural Society Jeddah has resumed its campaign to collect old and used textbooks for distribution among poor Indian students. It has designated the following points for depositing the textbooks: MTC Packers & Movers; Shadab, Niagra, AM PM, and Anmol restaurants; Sameera Al-Ryan, Al-Abeer polyclinics; and Azizia Stores, according to ICSJ President Arif Quraishi. The society collected 12,000 textbooks last year, and distributed 10,000 of them among IISJ students. 2,000 of the books had to be discarded, as they were unusable.
