KUWAIT, 20 March 2005 — The International Investor (TII) eyes a firm first-quarter profit and aims to double 2005 net year-on-year profit to over $27 million on a new expansion strategy, the Islamic holding firm’s chief said yesterday. “Our aim is to double the 2004 net profit,” Chairman and Managing Director Adnan Al-Bahar told Reuters as he laid out the new strategy to ween his firm off dependency on investment banking fees and becoming a regional financial services player.
