Have your weekends been lacking in excitement? Perhaps a car with some high octane “WOW” factor is just what you need to rev up your life. Scion asked California custom car company, Five Axis Models to create a “lifestyle” vehicle from the popular sport coup — the Scion tC.

All body panels on the tC’s lime pearl painted exterior were redesigned using Alias StudioTools design software. StudioTools was also a contributing factor in the engineering. With the push of a button, the tC’s rear hatch lid slowly rises skyward revealing a complete audio/video system housed in the rear cargo area. Its most prominent feature is a 43-inch plasma screen. From start to finish, this Scion tC’s transformation to a home theater on wheels took under five months to complete. More information about the lifestyle vehicle can be found at www.alias.com/FiveAxis.

US Taxpayers Try Online Prep

This year hundreds of thousands of US taxpayers are preparing their tax forms online instead of struggling with tax preparation software.

“US taxpayers have been finding that doing their taxes online is not only quick and easy; it’s the fastest way to get a refund,” said Leroy E. Petz, Sr., president of TaxBrain.com. “By specifying direct deposit, the refund appears in the taxpayer’s account in as little as two days, which is the greatest incentive to online preparation and filing.”

TaxBrain.com is a full-service online tax center providing tax advice, tools and resources all year round. To file US taxes through TaxBrain.com simply access the site and the easy interface prompts the user through every step. If the return is a 1040EZ or straightforward 1040, then the process doesn’t take more than 40 minutes. If a question arises, the taxpayer simply pushes a button, and chats directly with a qualified tax professional.
