JEDDAH, 22 March 2005 — A 25-year-old Saudi who worked as a teacher was found dead in a hotel room in the Sharafiyah neighborhood in Jeddah, Al-Bilad reported. In a suicide note police found in the room, the youth said he was consuming insecticide to kill himself. In the letter, he also wrote that he had wanted the president of the judicial court in Jeddah to order his execution because he had stood over the Holy Qur’an. When he failed in his attempt, he used insecticide to kill himself.
