GURAYAT, 22 March 2005 — A burglar made a silly mistake which led to his arrest, Al-Jazirah reported. He broke into a house and managed to steal half of the valuable goods and some money but he left some gold untouched. Five days later, the same thief came back to the same house trying to finish what he left unfinished. This time, he was caught by the owner of the house who beat him up until he admitted that he was the one who carried out the first theft in the house. He was handed over to police who recovered the stolen articles.
