JEDDAH, 29 March 2005 — Dr. Anwar ibn Abdul Majeed Al-Jabarti, chief executive officer of King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Center, has been appointed adviser at the royal court and supervisor of the Royal Clinic with the rank of minister. Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Fahd made the appointment on the recommendation of Crown Prince Abdullah.
King Fahd issued another decree appointing Dr. Qasim Al-Qasabi the new CEO of the hospital and naming its board of directors. Health Minister Dr. Hamad Al-Manie is the board chairman. Apart from the representatives of the ministries of civil service, finance and health, the new board comprises Dr. Qasabi, Dr. Othman ibn Ahmed and Dr. Adnan Ezzat (two executive directors of the hospital), Dr. Abdullah Al-Rabeea, director of health affairs at the National Guard, Dr. Saleh Al-Oqail, director of King Fahd Armed Forces Hospital in Jeddah, and Dr. Suleiman Al-Suhaimy, executive director of the Armed Forces Hospital.
