DAMASCUS, 29 March 2005 — Syria and Tunisia have signed seven agreements to enhance mutual cooperation in the fields of industry, gas and oil, mineral resources, postal services, exhibitions and international trade, in addition to other domains related to children, women and family issues.
The agreements were signed on Sunday at the end of the two-day 6th session of the Joint Higher Syrian-Tunisian Committee (JHSTC) that was co-chaired by Syrian Prime Minister Mohammed Naji Ottri and his Tunisian counterpart Mohammed Al Ghannouchi.
