TAIF, 30 March 2005 — A huge fight took place between students from two different tribes inside a middle school in Taif, Al-Watan reported. More than 35 students were involved in the fight which started during lunch. Both teachers and principals tried to calm the students by sending them back to class. Once inside the classrooms, however, the fights continued. The police were called and arrested a number of students. Some students escaped by jumping over the walls and hiding nearby. A number of students were injured in addition to some teachers and the principal. The police are still investigating what caused the fight.
