BEIRUT, 11 April 2005 — Despite Lebanese singer Nancy Ajram’s recent comments that she is on excellent terms with her sister Nadine, sources close to the singer revealed that the two are not in any way close and that Nadine has made some ruthless promises of being more popular than Nancy.
Nadine said on her personal website that she will be the queen of music videos and the bombshell of Lebanon for the year 2005. She added that she will be so popular that the soft drink company Coca Cola will break their contract with her sister and sign one with her instead.
Nancy stressed that she does not believe any of these comments were made by her sister, adding hat people are trying to create friction between her and Nadine.
Previously, Nancy had denied rumors that her younger sister Nadine is keen to enter the music industry and compete with her as a singer. Nancy stressed that her sister is only a talented actress and that her vocal abilities are not good enough to make her think of singing.
Nadine is currently looking at a number of offers after she was spotted on one of the programs on the Lebanese Broadcasting Company (LBC) satellite channel. Nadine revealed that she is seeking a leading role in a film or even television drama, which will leave a mark and bring her popularity and recognition throughout the Arab world.
