CAIRO, 12 April 2005 — Egyptian actress Poussy wants to quit her lead role in the television drama “Halkat Ba’ed Al Mudawalah” because she has to undergo extensive therapy for injuries she suffered in a recent car accident in Morocco.
Scenarist of the drama Muna Nour El Din has revealed that she insists on having Poussy play the lead role in the series and has requested the production company to postpone filming of scenes until the actress is well again.
Morocco’s King Mohammad VI had sent his private physician to treat Poussy and another Egyptian actress Laila Elwi after they met with an accident while driving to the city of Tanta.
