CAIRO, 18 April 2005 — Lebanese singer Alissa, who has been in Cairo for the past week, has just completed the recording of a new duet with international singer Chab Mami, sources said.
The secret recording was done at the ART studios in Cairo and the song is titled “Halili Duniaia” (Make My World Beautiful). It is not known whether the duet will be released as a single or if Alissa will include it in her upcoming album.
Aside from recording the duet, Alissa has met with a number of prominent Egyptian poets and composers to chose songs for her new album.
She has also completed shooting her latest music video for the song “Hubbak Waja”, marking the third from her latest album “Ahla Dunia”. The clip for the song, which has been witnessing enormous popularity, was filmed in a mansion in one of Lebanon’s suburbs, and filming lasted three days. Saeed Al-Marouq directed the clip.
