ASIR, 1 May 2005 — A Saudi female teacher in Asir bribed her husband and paid him SR100,000 so that he would not take another wife, Okaz reported. The wife tried to convince her husband not to marry again but when she saw that he was insisting, she took the desperate measure of resorting to paying him not to. The husband signed an agreement with his current wife promising that he would never marry another one as long as he is paid.
