JEDDAH, 4 May 2005 — A website of the Middle East Publishers Association (MEPA) was launched recently following the third meeting of MEPA’s constituent committee at Dubai Media City.
Representatives of a large number of media organizations in the region attended the meeting.
Azzam M. Al-Dakhil, chairman of the committee, said the website was set up to enhance contacts and exchange views between publishers in the region. He called upon publishers to interact with MEPA through the website by presenting their ideas and proposals to promote publishing industry.
The website contains the basic regulations of the association, privileges of members and MEPA’s objectives. Interested persons and organizations can join the association by filling the form on the website www.mepa.cc.
