The National Commercial Bank (NCB) presented the first of six “Dream houses” to Abdullah Issa Hussein Al-Mohaissen of Mebrez, Ahsa, as his prize at a ceremony held at Jeddah Hilton yesterday. The prizes are part of the bank’s promotional campaign under the slogan “One easy way to win,” which offers is customers an opportunity to win six luxury villas. Al-Mohaissen, who is employed in the Ministry of Agriculture for the last 10 years, was visibly overwhelmed with excitement. “I’ve no words to express my joy over the dream house that I have won,” he told Arab News. He is married with children and does not own a house, he added. Presenting the prize, NCB Chairman and Managing Director Abdullah S. Bahamdan said five more dream houses await the winners. All that participants of the promotion have to do is to apply for NCB’s credit cards, personal loans or subscribe to any one of mutual fund programs. A draw is being held every 15 days during the 90-day promotion.

Coca-cola has announced the commencing of its summer regional promotion consisting of valuable instant cash prizes under the caps of bottles and can seals of Coca-Cola products including Coca-Cola light, sprite and Fanta. This promotion, which includes instant cash prizes reaching 100,000 UAE dirham and discounts at McDonald’s, is being conducted across the Gulf countries that include the Kingdom, the UAE, Oman, Bahrain, and Qatar. Porsche has announced the arrival of the new 911 Carrera and Carrera S Cabriolet to SAMACO Automotive Porsche Center, sole importer for Porsche in the Kingdom. Now the aficionado of sports car motoring has the choice not only of the Carrera Coupe, but also the Carrera Cabriolet powered by a 325 bhp 3.6-liter Boxer engine as well as the 911 Carrera S Cabriolet featuring a 3.8-liter 355 bhp power unit. Al Sawani Group
Al Sawani Group has signed an agreement with the Human Resources Development Fund (HRDF) to support the company’s employment program. Following the accord, Al Sawani will employ 433 young male and female Saudis in its various departments. Al Sawani Group CEO Mohammed Abdulkadir Hafiz and HRDF’s Makkah Region Director Hisham Abdulrahman Linjawi signed the deal. Both parties expressed their satisfaction over giving employment opportunities to Saudis in compliance with the guidelines of the government and enforcing the HRDF’s role and its efforts toward the fulfillment of private sector’s Saudization plan.
