NAJRAN, 16 December 2005 — A mother tried to knock out the eye of an elementary teacher, the daily Al-Watan reported. The mother said that she wanted to take revenge against the teacher for beating her daughter. The victim shouted for help andother teachers came to her rescue. The mother was shocked later to discover that she had attacked the wrong teacher. Her intended target was in the bathroom at the time of the attack. The mother was held in police station pending an investigation.
