JEDDAH, 31 December 2005 — A woman’s plan to take away her brother’s inheritance backfired when her siblings convinced her husband to marry another woman, the Al-Watan daily reported. Using the authorization bequeathed to her husband, the woman tried to urge her spouse to take control of an inheritance left to a brother. Apparently, the woman’s brothers were close to her husband; they convinced him to marry another woman in retaliation for the woman’s scheme. Her anguish over the failed plot was made worse by the fact that she despised the other woman. The woman, scorned by her brothers and husband, is currently suffering from psychological meltdown, the report stated.
