ALKHOBAR, 1 January 2006 — A thief broke into the home of a man who had left for prayer, the Al-Yaum daily reported. The burglar didn’t go far, however. What he wanted was the door. The homeowner had a bittersweet experience upon his return from the mosque. The door was stolen, but his wife’s jewelry and the family’s other pricey items were still intact.
