JEDDAH, 3 January 2006 — The south terminal of the King Abdul Aziz International Airport here was plunged into darkness last night. Power went off at about 10.30 p.m. at the terminal from where Saudi Arabian Airlines operates its flights.
Most of the passengers left the terminal building. Outgoing flights were delayed.
The cause of the power breakdown could not be immediately determined.
