JEDDAH, 16 January 2006 — A newly-wed couple in the southern Saudi town of Bisha had bad luck on the first day of their marriage. Their decorated car, a luxury model, disappeared from outside the wedding hall, Al-Riyadh daily reported. The father of the bride then had to transport the couple to his house in his own car. The theft of the car while everybody was busy with the celebrations gave the couple a big shock, especially since they were planning to drive it away on their honeymoon.
