YANBU, 19 January 2006 — The first place winner of a children’s competition at an Eid festival turned out to be very lucky that the award-givers ran out of prizes, Al-Madinah reported. After the second and first runners up were announced and given fairly cheap watches as prizes, it was discovered that there were no more prizes to give to the child champion. Lucky for him there was a generous man in the audience who came up with a prize: his Rolex watch. The kid said it was the most expensive gift he had ever received.
