ISLAMABAD, 25 January 2006 — US President George W. Bush will arrive in Pakistan on a two-day official visit on March 3. Before visiting Islamabad, President Bush will pay an official visit to India. Bush will arrive in New Delhi on Feb. 28.
While confirming the visit, officials were yesterday tight-lipped about the main agenda of the talks between Bush and President Gen. Pervez Musharraf. But diplomatic sources said the American leadership was expected to demand more intensive efforts and cooperation from Pakistan to flush out Osama Bin Laden and his associates from what the Americans believe their hide-outs in Pakistan.
Their presence in Pakistan is neither confirmed nor denied by officials in the Musharraf administration.
Chief of the US Central Command will also be visiting Pakistan around the same time.
