JEDDAH, 27 February 2006 — A gas leak at Saudi Aramco’s Al-Juaymah Gas Facility yesterday resulted in the deaths of two employees. Four other employees were injured with one of them said to be in critical condition.

Speaking to Arab News, a source said that a hydrogen sulfide gas leak caused the deaths of two Saudi employees and injured four others at Al-Juaymah near Ras Tanura.

The reason for the leak was unclear but the source said that the company brought the leak quickly under control. The two employees who died were identified as Fawaz Al-Otaibi and Abdul Aziz Al-Zahrani.
