RIYADH, 6 July 2007 — McAfee Reloaded became the third team to taste the lead after they sensationally beat erstwhile leaders Pacific Cargo 27-15 in a brilliant performance that installed them as legitimate title contenders in the Pacific Cargo-RTBC Wednesday Bowling League 2nd Conference at the Riyadh Bowling Club here.

McAfee were two points shy of the perfect 29 points achieved by the first team to set the pace, RBC Patriots, as they emerged the 14th Team of the Week in this five-man league event organized by Riyadh Tenpin Bowlers Coalition and sponsored by Pacific Cargo.

MGA Trading consolidated their grip on third place behind McAfee and Pacific Cargo by beating Ala-Chamba 24-19 (3,864-3,814).

Agimat Rabatitat and Spare Me!!! both delivered strong performances against ESA Realty 24-15 (3,899-3,636) and Saco Hardware 22-20 (3,856-3,800). RBC Patriots defeated Strike Force 21-17 (3,754-3,668) in the other match. Emer Bacud of Ala-Chamba won the individual Bowler of the Week race shooting the high series of 853 on lines of 171, 203, 214, 193 and 72 handicap.

The trio of Boy Mirando, Cas Encila and Jeff Jimenez bowled big with rounds of 838, 805 and 803 to help McAfee sweep the win points and bonus points for scores of 800, 850, 900 and 950 with games of 969, 1,007, 1,002 and 973.

Remy Larano contributed 752, skipper Manny Isles made 565 and Ed Maduro added 188 for McAfee, who cashed in on Pacific’s indifferent display to get the win.

At the start of the match Pacific Cargo were 9 points up on McAfee and were looking to pull farther away. Instead, they were stopped cold in their tracks and overtaken by a resolute McAfee crew.

MGA Trading advanced their cause with solid displays from Mudz Dais 816, Luis Semillano 811, Arnold Marchan 754, Jimmy Domingo 751 and 732.

Agimat had the job distributed among seven players with Jojo Gabriel leading the way with 813 followed by Sonny Alviso with 797 and Armin Isles with 783. The other contributors were Noel Morales with 581, Art Yukong with 411, Jun Macarandan with 357 and Gigi Enriquez with 157.

Spare Me!!! used six in the rotation. At the helm was Ric Barisi with 809. Romy Goliat came through with 798 to go with the 770 by William Ybay, 730 by Noli Bueno, 388 by Noriel Leyran and 361 by Rey Blancia.
