- JEDDAH: A Jeddah court has denied handling the case of a Saudi woman recently caught for driving, Al-Madinah newspaper reported on Monday.
Ibrahim Al-Salama, assistant president of the court, said the report published in local newspaper was completely false and lacked credibility.
Al-Salama said the news was the product of imagination. “The reporter claimed that she (the driver) will appear in court after Ramadan. How can she appear in court if we did not receive the case in the first place?" the judge said.
He urged newspapers to be more accurate in their reporting.
