Al-Farsy began his tour with a visit to the Tawafa Establishment for Pilgrims from the United States, Europe, Australia and Turkey. Chairman of the board of directors of the establishment Tariq Angawi welcomed Al-Farsy to the facilities of the establishment. He said his establishment staffed with qualified workers would be able to provide better and quicker service to pilgrims this year than in 2010.

He put the number of expected pilgrims from the US, Europe, Australia and Turkey in Haj 2011 at 240,000.

The minister also inspected the Tawafa Establishment for Iranian Pilgrims where chairman of the board of directors of the establishment Muhammad Ali Jamal made a presentation of his plan for Haj service this year.

The minister also visited the Tawafa Establishment for South Asian Pilgrims, which caters to pilgrims from India, Pakistan, Nepal, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh, and met with the head of the establishment Adnan Katib and other directors. The directors assured the minister that they were striving their best to offer the safest and most comfortable service to pilgrims.

At the conclusion of the tour, the minister approved the preparations made by the three tawafa establishments.

The minister also expressed satisfaction at the qualifications of the officials of the establishments, which were reconstituted this year. The chairmen and directors of a tawafa establishment are elected every three years.
