This occurred frequently and I was not the only victim. Even if a person complained, managers would give you unjustified reasons for the delay, telling you, “we are human beings, and we get sick as all other people do.” This kind of justification applies of course to managers themselves. What about their duties toward citizens?
Another thing I suffered from was the delay of Saudi Arabian Airlines' flights, which made my situation even worse. Recent statistics from the Control and Investigation Board indicated that absenteeism among government employees was 311,422, a figure equal to half of the country’s government employees. I wish I had the patience to stand such situation.
