- JEDDAH: The Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), Professor Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu, held talks here Monday with Prince Turki Al-Faisal, chairman of the board of directors of King Faisal Center for Research and Islamic Studies.
Informed sources said Prince Turki expressed his center's readiness to cooperate with the OIC.
Prince Turki expressed his happiness over visting the OIC headquarters and meeting with the secretary general. He wished every success for the OIC to play an important role in the service of Islam and Muslims.
Prince Turki hoped that the organization would be able to realize the dream of its founder, the late King Faisal.
