The government of Azad Kashmir celebrated the Saudi National Day to express its solidarity with the Kingdom. Sardar Anayatullah, adviser to the Azad Kashmir president, presided over the function.
Anayatullah welcomed the guests from the Saudi, Pakistani and Kashmiri communities and eulogized the historical, economic and trade relation between the two brotherly countries. He applauded the strength and durability of the relationship between the two.
He thanked Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah and the royal family for all their support in times of calamity and need. He honored Saudi poets and writers Naji Batesh, Essam Al-Ghalib and Fouad Yatbawee, Saudi artist Alshaheer Hani Nazir, Alkadeer Naji Tantawi, artist Mamdouh Khazare, the leader of the “Thought of Darkness” theater group, and Saudi journalists for their support to Kashmir and its government.
