Baha governor opens exhibition featuring Saudi Arabia’s heritage

Baha Gov. Prince Meshari bin Saud attended the conclusion of the summer clubs in Baha under the Imam Muhammad Islamic University for the year 2012. The Science Institute in Baha held the function on Sunday.
The prince stressed that the summer clubs should highlight the principles upon which the Kingdom was founded, along with the security, stability and prosperity each citizen in the country enjoys.
The prince also talked about the foundation of the Kingdom on the principles of tawhid (Oneness of God) by Imam Muhammad bin Saud and Sheikh Muhammad bin Abdul Wahab.
Alongside the function, the prince opened an exhibition featuring the Kingdom’s national heritage. The exhibition showcased the tools used in the region during ancient times.
Student Abdul Mohsen Al-Ghamdi, speaking on behalf of all the students, commended the diverse activities presented by the summer clubs that promoted intellectual and physical skills, while also being entertaining.
The students also staged an opera and some songs.
Speaking on the occasion, rector of the university Suleiman Abulkhayl said the university was enthusiastic to present such outstanding programs during the summer club events.
On conclusion of the event, the prince honored the supporters and participants in the event. He also received memorial gifts from the rector.
