Prince Alwaleed bin Talal, chairman of Kingdom Holding Company (KHC), met with Prime Minister Antonis Samaras of Greece and the representatives of the Greek government in Athens.

During the meeting in Greece, Prince Alwaleed and Samaras discussed the warm friendship between Saudi Arabia and Greece and referred to a number of economic and social issues.

The meeting also touched upon the latest economic developments.

Prince Alwaleed congratulated Greece and its government for the current status of its economy which is expected to witness positive growth in 2014.

The prince also said that there were clear signs that the recession will subside to make room for economic growth.

Moreover, Prince Alwaleed and Samaras discussed investments in Greece.

The Greek Prime Minister said his country welcomes the Prince to further invest in Greece, especially in the hospitality sector.

Samaras also commended the Prince on his efforts on the business front.
