Saudi Arabia’s benchmark Tadawul All-Share Index (TASI) dug in at 8,704.21 and ended its Wednesday’s trading up over 48 points.
It jumped (+86.52 points) just after the opening bell and spending entire session in the green district gained 0.56 percent.
Thirteen out of Tadawul's 15 sectors finished to the upside, accumulating an aggregate of 584 points.
Banks & Financial Services turned in a splendid performance among sectoral indices, advancing more than two hundred points or 1.14 percent to 18,306.61. Transport was another significant gaining sector, growing by 0.98 percent.
Only Multi-Investment and Agriculture sectors closed in red, each declining slightly by 0.12 percent.
Most of large caps witnessed a positive change, with Samba Financial Group outdid rest of its heavyweight peers, surging by 3.4 percent to SR53.
Market breadth with advance-decline ratio of 2.2:1 remained extremely strong.
Etihad Atheeb Telecommunication Company remained at top position among all Saudi equities, surging 9.87 percent to close the day at SR 17.25.
The company has also been able to occupy the place at volume and value charts, liquidating more than 31.5 million shares worth SR520.5 million, and ranking second.
While, Alinma Bank continued its most active status, pouring 35.7 million shares and achieving a relative market share of 15.6 percent.
Tadawul total volume set sold approximately 228 million shares, an increase of 18.7 percent over the previous day. The 50-day average volume is below 200 million shares.
Equity turnover reached to SR5.7 billion, an increase of 4.3 percent over the 50-day average value. All most active stocks closed in green.
