Bab Rizq Jameel’s (BRJ) Saudi Arabian board of directors has decided to increase the target of job creation by 15 percent over those generated in 2013, which would mean the generation of 75,000 job opportunities in 2014.

Mohammed Abdul Latif Jameel, chief job creator at BRJ, said the decision was made on the back of BRJ’s encouraging 2013 results in Saudi Arabia, outlining that BRJ’s job creation assisted in creating 68,000 job opportunities, which exceeded the planned target of 65,000 for 2013.

Jameel extended his heartfelt gratitude and appreciation to Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah for his unlimited support to Abdul Latif Jameel Community Initiatives (ALJCI).

Jameel stressed that the continuous encouragement of King Abdullah had made today’s achievements possible.

He also thanked the Crown Prince Salman, deputy premier and minister of defense, who has spared no effort in supporting and encouraging ALJCI’s initiatives, as well as Prince Miqrin, Second Deputy Premier, Adviser and special envoy of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, and all governmental organizations, principalities and ministries.

More specifically, the Ministry of Labour joined hands with BRJ in all of its programs, and provided an important support through the Human Resources Development Fund (HRDF) in direct employment and training resulting in employment programs.

Jameel also thanked the Credit and Savings Bank for supporting small project finance initiatives.

Jameel outlined BRJ’s plan for 2014, which will focus on diversifying job creation programs, as well as expanding the most successful ones, including the working remotely program, which generated over 3,000 job opportunities during 2013, and is fully supported by the HRDF.

According to Jameel, more branches will open in the Eastern and Central, as well as in the Makkah and Madinah areas.

In addition, BRJ will enter in further strategic partnerships with several new stakeholders to expand the base of beneficiaries.

The chief job creator at BRJ invited businessmen to take part in job creation for the young people of the Kingdom.
