A forum planned in Yanbu will explore means on how to attract new investments into downstream industries to ensure economic diversity and sustainable development, Saudi Press Agency reported.
The two-day forum, which will kick off March 4, will be organized by the Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu (RCJY).
Some 450 experts and investors will join the event while 50 exhibitors will showcase their products and experiences at the exhibition accompanying the forum, the report added.
The forum, the 3rd edition, will discuss future trends in local and global downstream industries, investment opportunities in the Kingdom within the strategic plans drawn up by the RCJY, samples of industrial integration between upstream and downstream industries, according to the report.
CEO of RCJY Ala Nasif stressed the importance of the content of the forum as it is acting as a driver of economic growth in the Kingdom.
The forum will reflect the role of the Kingdom industrially and economically and its position to boost growth of global economy through attraction of mega investments in a variety of areas, he said.
