KARACHI: Pakistan's main stock exchange closed higher on Friday, with the benchmark 100-share index of the Karachi Stock Exchange rising 0.44 percent, or 115.08 points, to 26,488.32.

Investors’ remained interested in Textiles sector, while cement sector on the whole experience profit taking, dealer said.

Nishat Mills Ltd. rose 1.45 percent to Rs.135.04 while Maple Leaf Cement Factory Ltd. was down 1.16 percent to Rs.28.93.
