Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation (MATRADE) Jeddah office, in cooperation with Asharqia Chamber, has organized a catalog show on Wednesday to showcase Malaysian products and services and promote Malaysian companies in sectors such as oil and gas, building materials, green technology, food and pharmaceuticals.

MATRADE is the national trade promotion agency of the government of Malaysia under the Ministry of International Trade and Industry (MITI) Malaysia.

During the event, MATRADE Jeddah will promote Malaysia Services Exhibition (MSE) that will be held in conjunction with Saudi Building & Interiors Exhibition (SBIE).

MATRADE is inviting Saudi as well as foreign companies to meet Malaysian companies during the exhibition from May 11 to 14, organized by Al-Harithy Company for Exhibitions in Jeddah. The MSE is organized to showcase expertise and capabilities of Malaysian service providers especially in the sectors of construction, transportation and, oil and gas.

MATRADE will also promote the Malaysia International Halal Showcase (MIHAS) that will be held at Kuala Lumpur Convention Center (KLCC) from April 9 to 12.

MIHAS aims to facilitate the sourcing and selling of quality halal products and services globally. It is also promoting the International Trade Exhibition (INTRADE) 2014, which is scheduled to be held at MATRADE Exhibition & Convention Centre (MECC) in Kuala Lumpur from Nov. 26 to 28.

INTRADE is the annual international trade and export exhibition organized by MATRADE to enhance networking, business matching, exchange of ideas and knowledge among the business communities from different countries, especially those seeking to venture into the global market.

Other objectives of the catalog show are to enhance bilateral ties and economic cooperation particularly in trade of products and services; increase awareness of MATRADE roles, functions and services to Saudi chambers and associations, business community; establish and renew networking with all the relevant Saudi parties and network with Malaysian professionals working and residing in the Eastern Province.
