The Mining Investment Opportunities Forum at Le Royal Meridien, Madinah, will take place on Tuesday (June 3).

It is being held with the support of Madinah Gov. Prince Faisal bin Salman, in association with Madinah Chamber of Commerce & Industry (MCCI), and in sponsorship with Maaden.

In their keynote addresses, Mohamed Faraj, chairman of the board, Madinah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, will announce future mining projects and investment opportunities in Madinah.

Khalid bin Saleh Al-Mudaifer, president and CEO of Maaden and Matar Al-Harthi, director of business strategy, Saudi Basic Industries Corporation (SABIC), will discuss their respective and joint projects in the Saudi mining industry.

Zohair Nawab, president, Saudi Geological Survey, will outline the government’s commitment and plans for mining projects.

Abdullah Sultan, director of the Center for Petroleum and Minerals, King Fahd University for Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM), will talk about policies that can potentially impact the industry.
