Makkah Gov. Prince Mishaal bin Abdullah inaugurated a number of developmental projects in Taif recently. The new projects include the head office for the Higher Committee for Taif Development. The prince also unveiled new municipal projects and visited a number of municipal projects under construction in the governorate, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.

The prince launched and laid foundation stones for 26 municipal projects worth SR500,000 million, Taif Mayor Muhammad Al-Mokhrej, who is also secretary of the higher committee, said in a statement to the SPA.

The new projects include the National Joy Garden, Al-Jal Bridge, Gardens Street, Bani Saad branch municipality office, and vegetable and meat markets in Al-Mowaih, he said.

The governor will also lay foundation stones for 10 municipal projects, including Centenary Square, Middle Ring Road and Al-Jazira Garden in addition to a number of markets.
