The Technical and Vocational Training Corporation (TVTC) has signed an agreement with ABB Saudi Arabia to make it easier for young citizens find employment opportunities.

Zeid Al-Rumaihi, country human resources manager of ABB, Adel Al-Hobayb, general manger for TVTC Training Services, signed the agreement at at improving the skills of the local human resources.

The memorandum of understanding (MOU) stipulated cooperation in the field of recruitment and training and offering job opportunities for students who graduate from the technical colleges and institutes affiliated to TVTC.

Also, TVTC is to cooperate with ABB in Saudi Arabia to choose a number of trainees during the training phase, in addition to the continued program to attract graduates from the relevant disciplines.

An official from the ABB said under the agreement, trainees at the TVTC will be given hands-on experience at various work sites of the ABB facilties during the summer holidays.

TVTC is established under the royal decree and empowered to develop and improve human resources to meet the needs of the growing labor market in the Kingdom.
