JEDDAH: The government lending institutions, specializing in the provision of loans that contribute to the achievement of Saudi Arabia’s development goals, have provided SR454.4 billion since their inception until the end of 2014.
Also, while their total assets reached SR615.4 billion, up 9.1 percent compared to the year 2013.
The 51st report issued by Saudi Arabian Monetary Agency (SAMA) also stated that the actual total disbursement of these institutions loans amounted to about SR58.1 billion, up 21.3 percent compared to 2013.
It indicated that the loans repayment during the year 2014 amounted to SR18.5 billion, down by 29.7 percent compared to 2013.
